Why it looks like this
Across coastal Andhra Pradesh, place names ending in 'palem' mark what were once farming and fishing villages on the flat delta and shore plain. Rasapudipalem is one of them: a settlement whose lanes grew around its village core rather than from any plan.
As Andhra's coastal corridor urbanizes, such villages are being stitched into larger street networks — highway-side growth, plotted colonies and village lanes meeting on one map.
